Sound Healing

I am a trained and fully qualified Sound Healing Practitioner, insured with Holistic Insurance Services and a registered member of the Complimentary Medical Association (CMA) and the International Sound Healing Academy, offering one-to-one, couples, group and corporate sound healing.

Sound has been used as a tool for healing and transformation within various countries and cultures for thousands of years and has gained a lot of popularity in recent years for its benefits on a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual level.

Sound healing uses the therapeutic application of sound and is a practice of being deeply immersed in sound and vibration. Here are some benefits of sound healing:-

  • Helps to provide clarity

  • Heightens focus, awareness, and concentration

  • Has a positive effect on brainwaves and the nervous system

  • Helps to reduce stress, anxiety, and tension

  • Improves mood, sleep, and relaxes

  • Releases, restores, resets, rebalances, and realigns on all levels

  • Promotes overall well-being.

I offer immersive sound therapy and regular group sound healing and meditation in Brighton and Hove. These in-person sound healing sessions and events are transformative, relaxing, and deeply nourishing experiences, and a perfect opportunity to escape the demands, expectations, and hustle and bustle of modern-day stresses of everyday life and the constant connectivity to technology.

This immersive experience and process begins with each individual and everyone collectively laying down (or sitting) in a comfortable position. Followed by a short guided meditation, which includes me inviting you to set an intention with a guided focus on breathing.

I then go on to play a wide selection of highly resonant, beautiful, and soothing sound healing instruments, whilst you dive in, surrender, let go, and deeply immerse yourself in the deeply soothing and calming all-enveloping musical backdrop of these beautiful and calming sounds.

The sound healing instruments that I play include the Paiste symphonic gong, frosted singing bowls, crystal singing bowls, Himalayan singing bowls, the ocean drum, the hand-held frame drum, the rain stick, the rain maker, koshi chimes, shakers, rattles, and various other sound healing instruments.

Close to the end of the session, I invite you to revisit your intention that you set at the beginning of the mediation, and then there is 5 minutes of silence at the end in order to allow for the session to come to a natural end.

Simple steps to enhance your experience and what to bring.

Comfort is key! Please wear loose, comfortable clothing, dress warmly, and wear thick socks. I provide a padded yoga mat, a blanket, a bolster, a small pillow, and an eye pillow in order for you to create a cosy little nest. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring your own yoga mat, props, blankets, something to cover your eyes, and anything you need. Please bring a bottle of water and keep your body hydrated and well-nourished by eating lightly before your session. Please do not take drugs, drink alcohol, or eat a heavy meal beforehand.

No experience is required; come as you are, once or regularly, as it suits. Experiences are never the same; therefore, each time you attend, you will experience it differently. Spaces are limited to ensure an intimate and meaningful experience, so book early to secure your spot and avoid disappointment.

Please arrive 5 minutes early in order to get comfortable, settle into, and organise your space. Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your session, and due to the nature of the event, late arrivals are unable to join once the session has commenced.

Donations welcome. If you can’t make the event, you are welcome to give your ticket to a friend or family member. Please tell this person to notify me that this has happened before or when they arrive.
